The gaming community weren’t a corporate and never had a branding but under Divakar, they decided to step up their game and came to us for branding and banners for social media promotion. They didn’t know what they wanted but we guided them through it and both of us were happy with the end results….

We took inspiration from the branding of the game PUBG, specifically PUBG Mobile. The style of army badge patches and minimal black and yellow block shapes was the design direction we decided to go on….

The logo is designed to look like an army badge patch. We incorporated the famous default PUBG helmet into it and chose a typeface similar to that of the original PUBG logo to make the audience feel at home. The helmet is also modified to look like a skull….

We chose yellow and black to once again make the PUBG fans feel at home as they are also part of the PUBG brand identity system. This palette also gives the emotions of boldness and alert something that’s part of the battle royale games….

As mentioned earlier, we chose a typeface close to the one in PUBG logo. It is called Headliner No. 45. To complement it we choose Barlow because of its grotesk and low-contrast slightly rounded appeal, suitable for the body….

Since PMCL is not a corporate office, there was no need for business cards or letterheads, the most common basic applications. Rather we rendered a flag, badges and a tee, elements common of e-sports events once they grow bigger. As expected, they looked great as per both the sides….

What they needed at the moment was promotional posts for social media. So we made two versions of a post highlighting two different pieces of information…. We also suggested them to get vertical variations of the posts for stories in social media to which they agreed to for obvious reasons….

Some minimal wallpapers in both landscape and vertical aspect ratios to be disctributed among the participants….

They were more than overwhelmed with the results and responded to them with gratitude. Getting a branding done by us giving them the professional and attractive outlook and expand the reach of their tournament while increasing the possibility of organising bigger ones in the future by many folds….
